Questions
What order should I watch Marvel in?
Start with Captain America: The First Avenger and follow the list above, which has all 76 Marvel titles in story order. For the shortest route, stick to the 21 essentials.
How long does it take to watch all of Marvel?
About 192 hours for the 73 titles out so far. The 21 essentials take about 57 hours.
Should I watch Marvel in release order or story order?
Both work. Release order keeps every surprise the way audiences first saw it. Story order, used here, follows events as they happen, so it starts with Captain America: The First Avenger in World War II and Captain Marvel in the 1990s before Iron Man.
Do I need to watch the Marvel Disney+ series?
Some of them. WandaVision and Loki lead straight into the multiverse films, so they're marked as essential. Most other series are optional extras you can enjoy or skip.
What's the next Marvel release?
VisionQuest, out on 14 October 2026.
