Chronologica is built so your data stays yours. There's no account, no advertising and no analytics, and we don't collect, sell or share personal information.

What stays on your device

Everything you do in the app is stored only on your iPhone or iPad: titles you've watched or skipped, plans, countdowns, your watchlist, episode progress and ratings. We never receive a copy.

The Movie Database (TMDB)

Film and series details, posters, release dates and cinema listings come from TMDB. To get them, the app sends requests straight from your device to TMDB, including:

• which films and series to look up,
• anything you type into search,
• your device's region, so cinema listings and release dates match where you live.

These requests aren't linked to you or your watch history, but like any web request TMDB can see your IP address. SeeTMDB's privacy policy for how they handle it.

Reminders

If you turn on release reminders, they're scheduled on your device with Apple's notification system. Nothing is sent to a server.

Backups

When you export a backup, the app creates a file on your device and you decide where it goes: AirDrop, Files or anywhere else. We never see it.

Children

Chronologica doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, for example if a sync feature is added, we'll update this page and the date above.
